We started The Vineyard Connection 30 years ago in a garage in Observatory with a simple goal - to make great wine accessible to everyone. What began as a small idea - connecting people to great wine - grew into something much bigger.
Today, we’re delivering exceptional bottles of wine to people around the world - who care about honest recommendations, excellent quality and great service!
We do things a little differently here. We enjoy making up special packs and every box is a hand-picked selection of wines that we think are great! Should you prefer to select a case of one specific wine, you can always send us an email and we would be happy to assist.
You are of course always welcome to visit our shop in Stellenbosch to see the 400 labels that we carry in stock.Yes! Our shop in Stellenbosch is a welcoming space where you can explore a diverse range of wines that we're genuinely excited about. Over the past three decades, we've built strong relationships with some of South Africa's finest winemakers, sourcing wines that are as unique and dynamic as the people who make them.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
We've taken our wine passion online - not with an overwhelming catalogue, but with carefully curated wine boxes. Each box features six special wines that tell a story, whether it's a journey through different varietals and regions, or a showcase of limited releases.
For those who want even more, our wine club offer regular deliveries of exclusive selections tailored to your taste. It's all about making great wine easy to enjoy and discover, one box at a time.

Your wines come straight from our shop and warehouse in Stellenbosch. All the wines are selected from top-tier South African wineries and winemakers we trust. We source directly from producers, ensuring quality, authenticity, and fresh stock. The wines are safely packed by our team and we often deliver the wines ourselves around Cape Town.
Since we only sell mixed wine boxes, changes depend on where your order is in the process. If it hasn't been packed, we can certainly accommodate, just reach out as soon as possible. If its on its way, we can always help you put together a great selection for your next box.
If your order hasn’t been packed yet, we’ll do our best to cancel it - just let us know as soon as possible. If it’s already on its way, we might not be able to stop it, but we can discuss options to make it right.
Deliveries
Deliveries are done by our freight team in and around Cape Town, with deliveries upcountry being outsourced by reliable and efficient freight partners.
We specialise in international deliveries and would be happy to quote you for any wines abroad. Please email our freight team on info@vineyardconnection.co.za.Depending upon the time of the order being placed, the delivery time into Cape Town is the following day. Johannesburg and surrounds take approximately 3 days with outlying areas taking approximately 4 working days. For more details on deliveries, click here.

Payments
Payment can conveniently be processed through our Yoco machine. If you run into trouble, just give us a shout - we’ll sort it out.
First, don’t panic - your wine is still out there waiting for you. Double-check with your bank or payment provider to see if there was an issue. If all else fails, try again or use another payment method. Still stuck? Give us a shout, and we’ll help you figure it out - because no one should be denied good wine over a technical hiccup.
